A. The streets and avenues, and parts of streets and avenues, of the village designated by this section as stop streets or stop avenues are hereby declared to be stop streets and stop avenues. The driver of a vehicle shall stop at an intersection with a stop street or stop avenue and shall proceed cautiously, yielding to the vehicles not so obliged to stop which are within the intersection or approaching so closely as to constitute a hazard, unless traffic at such intersection is controlled by a police officer on duty, in which event, there shall be compliance with the directions of the police officer. B. The following streets and avenues, and parts of streets and avenues, are hereby declared to be stop streets and avenues:
1st Avenue East (Airport Road) from 1st Street East (U.S. Route 67) to its intersection with the Milan bypass road and from the Milan bypass road to the east village limits.
1st Street (U.S. Route 67) from 1st Avenue to 10th Avenue (Andalusia - Knoxville Road) and from 10th Avenue (Andalusia - Knoxville Road) to the south village limits.
3rd Street West from 1st Avenue West to 4th Avenue West.
4th Avenue East from 1st Street East (U.S. Route 67) to 5th Street East.
4th Street West from 1st Avenue West to 10th Avenue West (Andalusia Road) and from 10th Avenue West (Andalusia Road) to 14th Avenue West and from 16th Avenue West to 20th Avenue West; provided, that traffic on 20th Avenue West shall not be required to stop; and provided further, that southbound traffic on 4th Street West shall be required to stop at said intersection of 4th Street West and 20th Avenue West.
12th Avenue East from 1st Street East past its intersection with 3rd Street East.
14th Avenue East from 1st Street East to its intersection with 3rd Street East.
17th Avenue West at its intersection with 4th Street West.
32nd Avenue East from its intersection with Sycamore Lane west to its point of termination.
