§ 1434.03 INDEMNITY REQUIRED.
   The building permit to erect, hang or attach an awning, canopy or marquee shall only be given and granted upon condition that the owner of the property upon which such awning, canopy or marquee is to be erected or hung or to which it is to be attached, and the applicant for permission to erect, hang or attach such awning, canopy or marquee shall jointly and severally agree to indemnify the City against loss or damage to persons and property that may result by reason of the erection, hanging, attaching and maintaining of such awning, canopy or marquee and by reason of the falling down, blowing down or removal of such awning, canopy or marquee.
