§ 91.999 PENALTY.
   (A)   Generally. Whoever violates any provision of this chapter, for which no other penalty is provided, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than $500.
   (B)   Registration of pavement, sidewalk and public rights-of-way cuts and restoration. Any utility company who violates any provision of §§ 91.070 through 91.072 shall be subject to a civil penalty of $25 per day from the day the registration was required to have been filed herein. On mailed registrations, the postmark shall be the date of registration, otherwise the date of receipt by the city shall be the date of registration. This civil penalty shall be in the nature of a debt and if not paid by the offender within 15 days from date of assessment by the City Clerk may be recovered by the city in a civil action in the nature of a debt, as provided in KRS 83A.065.
   (C)   Sidewalk maintenance. Violation of §§ 91.089, 91.090 or 91.091 shall be punishable by fine of $3 per square foot of defective sidewalk, but not more than $500 for each violation. Failure to repair each continuous 25 feet of defective sidewalk, as required by §§ 91.085 through 91.092, shall be deemed a separate offense.
   (D)   Addresses. Any person, firm or corporation failing to comply with the provisions of §§ 91.105 and 91.106 shall be fined not less than $10 or more than $25 and each day during which the violation exists shall be deemed a separate offense. Warning citations may be issued by enforcement personnel in appropriate circumstances.
