§ 91.072 RESTORATION.
   Any utility company making a utility cut shall restore the surface of the area to State Department of Highways specifications, and shall warrant the pavement repairs against failure of all types for duration of five years. The only time the utility company is released within the five years is where the street is reconstructed. If a utility company shall, for a period of 30 days, ignore any request by a city official for repairs during the existence of the warranty period, the city may make the necessary repairs at the expense of the utility company, plus $500 for noncompliance. Until these amount(s) are paid to the city, the utility company shall be prohibited from making further utility cuts within the city.
