474.06 RIDING BICYCLES UPON SIDEWALKS.
   A person may operate a bicycle upon a roadway but shall be governed by the provisions of this Traffic Code relative to the right-of-way of motor vehicles. Every person operating a bicycle upon a sidewalk shall yield the right-of-way to all pedestrians and vehicles lawfully using the sidewalk. No person shall ride a bicycle on a sidewalk in business districts where restrictions have been placed by the Chief of Police due to a congestion of the area, and such restrictions are indicated by clearly visible signs.
