The Mayor is authorized to promulgate and adopt a leave donation program, including policies that would enable full-time employees to voluntarily donate unused sick leave in order to provide assistance to other full-time employees who are in critical need of leave due to the serious illness or injury of the employee or a member of the employee’s immediate family.
