Any employee who is required to be absent from work due to serving as a juror or as a witness due to a work-related incident shall be paid his or her regular hourly rate for all hours absent from work, provided that he or she surrenders all fees and/or payments for expenses he or she receives from such duty to the employer and returns to work as soon as practicable.
