(a) The position of part-time summer secretary is hereby established for the purpose of rendering secretarial services during the summer vacation period and other holiday periods to the various departments as required by such departments and as determined by the Mayor. Such employee shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall serve at his or her pleasure.
(b) Such employee shall be compensated at pay grade six. Such employee shall be deemed to be a part-time employee and shall not be entitled to the benefits of full-time employees. (Ord. 1985-83. Passed 6-11-85; Ord. 2005-24. Passed 3-8-05.)
