138.01 ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT OF PLANNING COMMISSION, BOARD OF ZONING AND BUILDING APPEALS.
   (a)   There is hereby established the full-time position of Administrative Assistant to the Planning Commission, the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals. Such Administrative Assistant shall be appointed by the Building Commissioner and serve at the pleasure of the Building Commissioner. The Building Commissioner shall be responsible for scheduling sick leave and vacation and certifying the number of hours worked.
   (b)   The duties of such Administrative Assistant shall be to:
      (1)    Attend all of the regular and special meetings of the Planning Commission, the Board of Zoning and Building Appeals.
      (2)    Prepare, circulate and publish all minutes of such meetings and all agenda, notices, advertisements or other documents, letters, or papers required by the City Charter, City ordinances or general law;
      (3)    Perform such other and further duties as are required by the City Charter or as may be directed by the various Commissions and Boards; and
      (4)    Provide copies of the minutes of each Board or Commission to the Mayor, Clerk of Council, Director of Law and Director of Public Service within 14 days of any meetings and notify the above officials and the members of each such Board or Commission of all regular and special meetings of such Board or Commission.
