The Records Commission shall perform the duties set forth in Ohio R.C. 149.39 and in addition thereto shall, when it is deemed advisable by the membership, initiate and promulgate plans for the reproduction of City records, by lawful means, for the purpose of more economical storage and approved safety thereof, and may conduct investigations regarding the necessity for and the practicality of such plans.
