127.13 ANIMAL WARDEN.
   (a)   The position of part-time Animal Warden is hereby established. Such employee shall be appointed by the Mayor to serve at his pleasure. The Police Chief or his designates shall determine the times during which the services of such employee are required. The Animal Warden shall perform such duties as are necessary for policing, housing and disposition of stray animals within the City, and such other and further duties consistent with his job as are directed by the Chief of Police or his designates.
   (b)   The part-time Animal Warden shall be compensated as provided for from time to time by Council but such employee shall not be entitled to any fringe benefits such as paid holidays, paid vacations, longevity compensation, hospitalization or the like. The Animal Warden’s salary shall include and be in lieu of any payment for the use of such employee’s personal motor vehicle in the performance of his duties.
