123.13 BENEFITS FOR SUPERINTENDENT, FOREMAN AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR.
   (a)   Overtime. In addition to their regular compensation, the Superintendent, Foreman and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, and any full-time secretary while serving as the Civil Service Commission's Secretary, shall be entitled to receive pay at the rate of one and one-half times their regular rate for all hours actually worked in excess of eight hours in any day or forty hours in any week. There shall be no pyramiding of overtime payments. Paid holidays and vacation days shall, for the purposes of computing overtime pay, be considered as time actually worked.

   (b)   Uniform Allowances. In addition to the regular compensation of the Foreman and the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, they shall be entitled to receive a uniform allowance in an amount as provided by ordinance of Council. Such amount shall be paid directly to the employee on June 1, provided that payment shall be made only to employees who are still employed in such capacity by the City on June 1. Such uniform allowance shall be in addition to the uniforms currently provided by the City.
   (c)   Call-in Time. In addition to the regular compensation of the Foreman and the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, each of those employees who is recalled to work after leaving work or on a day when he or she is not scheduled to work shall be given a minimum of two hours work for two hours pay at his or her regular rate, provided that the time worked or paid does not abut the employee’s work day.

   (d)   Snow Removal and Roadway Services. In addition to their regular compensation, the Superintendent or Foreman who is working for the purpose of snow removal, road salting or roadway painting or striping or who is performing work which is more hazardous than ordinarily associated with the usual nature of such employee’s work, as determined by the Director of Public Service, shall receive an additional thirty cents ($0.30) per hour for each hour worked in such capacity.

   (e)   Superintendent’s Service as Service Director. In addition to the Superintendent’s regular compensation, the Superintendent shall receive an additional ten dollars ($10.00) for each day that he or she serves in the capacity of Acting Service Director.
