(a) Former division (a) was repealed by implication by the adoption by the voters, on November 4, 1975, of new Article VI of the City Charter.
(b) The position of full-time Assistant Building and Zoning Inspector is hereby established for the purpose of assisting the Service Director and the Building Commissioner in the performance of their duties. Such employee shall be appointed by the Director of Public Service and shall serve at his pleasure. Such employee shall be under the direction of the Director of Public Service and shall perform such duties consistent with his position and as further determined by ordinance. The individual appointed to such position shall be qualified and certified by the State of Ohio to act as either an electrical inspector or plumbing inspector for the City, or both.
