131.09 PART-TIME HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER.
   (a)   There is hereby established the part-time position of Human Resources Manager.
   (b)   Qualifications: The Human Resources Manager shall have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related area and a minimum of five years experience in public sector human resources administration as a manager or director; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
   (c)   General Duties: Ensures the City complies with all applicable employment laws and personnel policies; administers employee benefits; maintains disciplinary action records; coordinates the performance evaluation system; maintains personnel files; processes Workers' and Unemployment Compensation claims; prepares personnel forms and required reports; updates policies and procedures; signs up new employees for benefits, provides administrative support to department heads and performs related clerical duties.
   (d)   Appointing Authority: Mayor.
   (e)   Immediate Supervisor: Law Director.
   (f)   Salary Grade: 32.
