1505.01 PERMIT FEES.
   (a)   Wherever a permit is required to be obtained from the Division of Fire, unless a different fee is specifically provided for elsewhere, the charge for such permit shall be twenty-five dollars ($25.00). The permit fee shall be paid by the applicant prior to the issuance of such a permit.
   (b)   There are hereby established specific permit fees as follows:
      (1)   For installation or removal of flammable or combustible liquid underground storage tanks as follows:
         Tank Capacity (gals.)         Fee (per tank)
         Up to 3,000                  $50.00
         Over 3,000 to 6,000               75.00
         Over 6,000 to 12,000            100.00
         Over 12,000                  125.00
      (2)   Fire hydrant use - $20.00
      (3)   Automatic extinguishing systems - $25.00
      (4)   Yard hydrant and main - $50.00
      (5)   Fire alarm systems per floor - $25.00
      (6)   Smoke detector per dwelling - $10.00
      (7)   Fireworks - $250.00
   (c)   All permit fees are payable upon the issuance of a permit application and before the commencement of any work. If any work or process is commenced prior to payment of a permit fee, the regular fee application to the particular work shall be doubled.
   (d)   If initial acceptance tests fail and require additional testing, a new permit must be obtained from the Division of Fire.
