(a) The use of plastic pipe for the transmission of gas for service lines, extending from the street curb to the dwelling only, is hereby permitted. However, such use is subject to compliance with the provisions of "Standards Set Forth for Gas Piping of Columbia Gas System," dated January 1, 1980, a copy of which is attached to original Ordinance 1980-5, passed January 22, 1980, and made a part hereof as though fully rewritten herein.
(b) The use of plastic lines (high-density polyethylene) for the transmission of main gas lines in the street right of way is hereby permitted, subject to compliance with the regulations enumerated in the "Standards Set Forth for Gas Piping of Columbia Gas System," dated January 1, 1980, a copy of which is attached to original Ordinance 1981-117, passed September 8, 1981, and made a part hereof as though fully rewritten herein.
