Any time a footer drain is required the applicant shall install bed footer drains at the bottom elevation of footers on solid ground to insure flow of water to the storm sewer connection. All pipe and fittings shall be connected in the proper manner as prescribed in A.S.T.M. standards. Pipe shall be A.S.T.M. standards D2726 (PCV only) in accordance with the specifications of the Building and Zoning Director. After inspection of the drain tile and downspouts, the foundation shall be backfilled to a height no less than two feet below grade. The backfill material shall be limestone No. 57 only, the minimum size being three-quarter inch. The minimum width of the backfill of gravel shall be two feet.
