There is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the construction, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of one and two-family dwellings and appurtenant structures, including permits and penalties, that certain building code known as the Residential Building Code of Ohio for One, Two and Three-Family Dwellings promulgated by the Ohio Board of Building Standards as amended from time to time.
