(h) Demolition or Razing of Buildings or Structures. (Remove basement walls and floor, backfill and tamp every 12 inches, disconnect sewer and block off and have inspected. Grade property.)
Any person, partnership or corporation desiring to raze any primary building in the City shall deposit with the Building and Zoning Director a bond of three hundred dollars ($300.00) in cash conditioned upon the faithful and prompt performance of such razing as described in the application. This amount shall be returned to the depositor upon a determination by the Director, after inspection, that the razing has been properly and satisfactorily completed. The fee for razing a building or structure is fifty dollars ($50.00). If a building is razed by means of burning by the Division of Fire in a drill duly scheduled for the purpose of training and approved by the Mayor, no bond shall be required, but a thirty dollar ($30.00) fee shall be charged for inspection of the premises after razing. If an accessory building is razed in the City there shall be charged twenty-five dollars $(25.00) as a fee for inspection after razing.
(i) Additions or Remodeling of Commercial and Industrial Buildings. Any new addition or remodeling of commercial and industrial buildings, structures or projects:

(j) Moving Excessively Large or Heavy Equipment or Devices.
(1) For moving on any public street or any portion thereof.
A. Where the object moved is under ten feet wide and not high enough to interfere with overhead wires, lights, tree limbs, etc., and moved on a standard truck or trailer at moderate speed with little or no interference to normal traffic,

In addition to the above, at the discretion of the Director of Public Service, additional fees, up to the amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00), may be charged to cover extra supervision and inspections, according to the nature of the work and the time involved.
The above fees or charges do not include any necessary charges which might be made which might be entailed and occasioned by the moving.
All charges from public utilities involved, and occasioned by the moving, are to be paid by the owner or mover. (The mover must provide the Director with an adequate cash deposit or bond.)

(k) Swimming Pools.

(p) Curb Cutting. The cutting of any curb or its removal, at the
option of the City, shall be performed by the City or its authorized
agent after a permit has been issued by the Service Director.
The fee charged shall be as per the following schedule:
(1) Sandstone curbing and concrete curbing.

(2) Granite curbing.

(q) Road Opening. (For installation of water, sewer lines, etc.)
Wherever an opening or openings must be made in any part
of the public or dedicated portion (from property line on one
side to property line on opposite side) of a roadway, a permit
must be secured and a fee charged as follows:
Pavement cut $ 150.00
Nonpavement cut 100.00
Plus a cash bond as determined by the Service Director.

(r) Buildings or Equipment Not Specified. The fee for a permit to
construct, install or erect any building structure or
equipment, not specifically covered under this Building
Fee Schedule, shall be one-half of one percent of the
estimated cost, except that no permit shall be issued
for a fee of less than thirty dollars ($30.00).
(s) Obstruction Deposit. To protect the City property from damage,
to ensure the completion of all construction work, the removal of
temporary offices, tools and/or storage sheds, and the satisfactory
restoration of the property involved, a deposit is required, prior
to issuance of a building permit, on all new dwellings, commercial
construction or any construction deemed necessary by the
Building and Zoning Director.
(1) On every new dwelling:
A cash deposit of $ 500.00
Mud bond 300.00
(2) For group building of dwellings by one contractor, for commercial construction or any other type of construction, the amount of cash deposit shall be set by the Building and Zoning Director at a figure he deems adequate. All deposits shall be subject to increase if the nature of the work warrants.
When all construction work is completed, all temporary office, tool and/or storage sheds are removed and when the property involved has been restored to a reasonable state of orderliness, then a final inspection shall be made.
A. Where work has been completed satisfactorily at the time of final inspection any cash deposits will be refunded (with the exception of any charges deemed necessary for extra inspections.)
B. If work is not satisfactorily completed within a specified time given by the Director, in writing, the entire amount of the bond shall be forfeited.
