(a) No person shall install or operate any drilling rig or storage tank, or build any related structure, nearer than 1,500 feet from any inhabited private dwelling house; nearer than 1,500 feet from any public or commercial building which may be used as a place of resort, assembly, education, entertainment, lodging, trade, manufacture, repair, storage, traffic or occupancy by the public; nearer than 1,500 feet to any ground water supply; or nearer than 1,500 feet to any other gas or oil well.
(b) No person shall extend, deepen or enlarge any existing gas or oil well or erect any storage tank within 500 feet of the nearest point of a dedicated portion of any street, highway or railroad right of way.
