Any gasoline service station constructed, expanded, remodeled or reconstructed in the City from and after the effective date of this chapter (Ordinance 1970-78, passed August 11, 1970) shall comply with all the yard, area, setback, height, sign and use restrictions and regulations contained in Chapter 1148 of the Codified Ordinances, even if the land upon which such gasoline service station is constructed, expanded, remodeled or reconstructed is then zoned other than Class 4 - Motorist Service District.
