(a) No person shall engage in or perform any maintenance or construction work on any building, street, highway, road, bridge, culvert, residence or water or sewer excavation, or any bulldozing or grading of any land, outside the hours specified in the following schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Sundays and the following holidays, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; except on arterial streets and highways and appurtenances thereto, provided the Service Director has given prior permission for such work. (b) In any residential district, whether single, two-family or apartment, no person shall deliver construction materials on any property between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. of the following day of any day of the week.
