SECTION 2.1003. FINE AND PENALTY SCHEDULE.

   Except as may otherwise be provided within this Code of Ordinances or by law, any person violation the Village of Mettawa Code of Ordinances shall be fined and/or subject to the penalties as set forth in the following Schedule of Fines and Penalties:

Article XVII. Regulation of Commercial Traffic	6.1701 Operation of Certain Vehicles Prohibited	C.1.   Not less than Fifty Dollars ($50) nor more than Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each calendar day a violation occurs.
Article XIX: Construction, Penalties and Disposition of Fines	6.1905. Penalties for Misdemeanor	-   For a first conviction not less than ten dollars ($10) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100); second conviction within one (1) year thereafter such person shall be punished by a find of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500); upon a third conviction within one (1) year after the first conviction such person shall be punished by a fine not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500)
Chapter 7: Offenses and Miscellaneous Regulations
Article III. Dutch Elm Disease	7.305 Penalty	-   Not less than fifteen dollars ($15) for each offense
Article VII. Solicitors and Canvassers	7.711 Penalty	-   Not less than one thousand dollars of ($1,000) nor more than fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500)

Fireworks	7.1003 Penalties	-   Not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each and every offense, depending upon the seriousness and frequency of the violations; and any person who violated the provisions of Section 7.1001 of this Article with Class B fireworks shall be fined not less than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for each and every offense
Article XI. Video Gaming	7.1102 Violations; Penalties	-   Not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each and every offense, depending upon the frequency of the violations;
Article XIII. Unpaid Charges and Assessments and Disclosure of Interests	7.1303 Violation; Penalty	-   Not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each offense

Article II. Real Estate Transfer Tax	19.207 Interest and Penalties	-   One percent (1%) per month, commencing as the first day following the day when the tax become due. In addition, a penalty of ten percent (10%) of the tax and interest due shall be assess and collected against any person failing to pay the tax imposed upon said person under the terms of this subchapter
	19.209 Penalty Tax Violation	A.   Not less than two hundred dollars ($200) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) B.   Not less than two hundred dollars ($200) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000)
