SECTION 10.303.  SIGNS IN THE O-R PLANNED OFFICE/ RESEARCH DISTRICT.
   A.   Except as otherwise set forth in Sections 10.301 and 10.305, only the following signs shall be permitted to be erected in the O-R Planned Office/Research District, and then only under the conditions hereinafter specified:
      1.   Real estate signs.
      2.   Wall signs upon buildings shall be limited to five (5) feet in length and fifty (50) square feet in surface area, and only the name and address of the building, occupants, or management may be displayed. One (1) sign shall be permitted for each lot; however, on corner lots, two (2) such signs, one facing each street shall be permitted.
   B.   All signs permitted in the O-R Planned Office/Research District shall be set back at least fifteen (15) feet from any road and be placed not closer than five (5) feet from any property line. Advertising signs shall not be permitted.
   C.   One (1) subdivision sign per planned unit development.
      1.    Each such sign shall not exceed the overall dimensions of thirty (30) feet in width, four (4) feet in height. In addition, no letter in the message may exceed eighteen (18) inches in height.
      2.   Each such subdivision sign may be illuminated from within or by spotlighting hidden from the view of passers-by or by backlighting.
