It shall be unlawful to drive any motor vehicle with the size or weight, including load, or any combination of vehicles with the size or weight, including load, in excess of that which is permitted by the Illinois Vehicle Code, specifically ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, §§ 15-102 (width), 15-103 (height), 15-107 (length), and 15-111 (weight), when operating on any streets, alleys, roadways, or highways owned or maintained by the city, unless a permit has been issued in accordance with § 74.02 pursuant to authority granted by ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 15-301(a).
