§ 70.05 LIMITS ON TRUCK TRACTOR AND SEMI-TRAILER COMBINATIONS.
   (A)   Except as hereinafter provided, no person shall drive or otherwise move any semitrailer truck tractor upon any street or right of way of the city other than the following:
      (1)   US 45 and all city streets that are part of US 45 (5th Street, Ferry Street, 10th Street);
      (2)   12th Street between US 45 and North Avenue;
      (3)   North Avenue from the city limits to Pearl Street;
      (4)   Pearl Street from North Avenue to 10th Street;
      (5)   Broadway from 10th Street to 4th Street; and west along 4th Street to the city's Public Works facility;
      (6)   Ferry Street from 5th Street to the Harrahs Casino.
   (B)   The following shall be exceptions to the provisions of division (A) above:
      (1)   A semitrailer or truck tractor may utilize any street that connects to one of the approved streets or right of ways set forth in division (A) above for the specific purpose of making a delivery. Upon completion of the delivery, such vehicle shall return by the closest direct route to an approved street or right of way listed in division (A) above. Failure to return to an approved street or right-of-way by the closest route shall be considered a violation of this section.
      (2)   When an approved street or right-of-way as set forth in division (A) above is closed for maintenance or repairs and a specific detour route is designated by local authorities.
      (3)   When a semitrailer or truck tractor combination is being towed by an authorized towing company.
      (4)   Any semi-trailer or truck tractor that is owned and operated by the city or any public utility company or a contractor/subcontractor performing work for either the city or a public utility company.
      (5)   Any licensed tow truck.
