(a) The Administration is authorized to enter into a contract with a local funeral director/funeral home for cremation, burial and marker services for the unclaimed body of any deceased person who is a resident of the City. The total cost of the cremation, burial and marker for such services shall not exceed seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00) per person.
(b) In order to comply with the provisions of Ohio R.C. 5101.521, it shall be the policy of the City to cremate the unclaimed body of a deceased person who is a legal resident of the City.
(c) The Administration shall establish forms and procedures for determining if the deceased is a resident of the City and if the deceased is indigent.
