The Law Director is hereby authorized to appoint Assistant Law Directors whose primary functions, duties and responsibilities shall be the prosecution of all misdemeanor cases in Medina Municipal Court; however, the Assistant Directors shall perform any other duties assigned by the Law Director. The Assistants shall serve at the pleasure of the Law Director. Nothing herein contained shall prohibit or restrict the Law Director of the City from the prosecution of any misdemeanor case in the Medina Municipal Court should he determine such prosecution is necessary or advisable.
