109.01 FEES ESTABLISHED.
    It is hereby determined that the following fees shall be charged for services provided by the City:
   (a)   Police Department.
      (1)   Upon receipt of a written request for any public record as defined under Ohio R.C. 149.03, the following fees shall be charged and collected:
 
A.
Copies of traffic accident reports
$3.00 each
B.
Copies of police reports.
$3.00 each
 
Reports over 5 pages,additional pages
$0.20 each
C.
Tape recordings of any police phone lines or radio transmissions (estimate of total hours necessary to produce requested tape will be provided prior to agreement)
$16.00 per hour
D.
Photographs - the current cost to develop negatives plus
$5.00
E.
Time spent for researching and preparing other types of records
$16.00 per hour
F.
Video tapes current cost
plus $10.00
 
       (2)   The Chief of Police or his designee may waive all or any part of the above fees for:
         A.   Any law enforcement official of the City or County, or any official agency of the United States, or any military organization of the United States, or any police agency of any political subdivision;
         B.   Any victim of crime requesting a report pertaining to the crime;
         C.   Any person involved in an incident who requests a copy of his written statement;
         D.   Any person or agency requesting copies of a public record in which the assessed fees would cause an undue burden upon them.
   (b)   Fire Department.
      (1)   Upon receipt of a written request for any public record as defined under Ohio R.C. 149.03, the following fees shall be charged and collected:

Copies of fire incident reports
$3.00 each
 
B.
Copies of fire incident reports over 1 year old
$5.00 each
 
C.
Copies of fire inspection reports
$3.00 each
 
Reports over 5 pages, additional pages
$0.20 each
 
D.
Tape recordings of any fire phone lines or radio transmissions (estimate of total hours necessary to produce requested tape will be provided prior to agreement)
$16.00 per hour
 
E.
Photographs - the current cost to develop negatives
plus $5.00
 
F.
Time spent for researching and preparing other types of records
$16.00 per hour
 
G.
Video tapes current cost
plus $10.00
      (2)   The Fire Chief or his designee may waive all or any part of the above fees for:
          A.   Any law enforcement or fire department official of the City, County or State, or any official agency of the United States, or any police or fire agency of any political subdivision;
         B.   Any person or property owner involved in an incident who requests a copy of the report.
         C.   Any person or agency requesting copies of a public record in which the assessed fees would cause an undue burden upon them.

    (c)   Miscellaneous Charges. The following charges shall be made for miscellaneous items:
