Fire lanes on private property devoted to public use shall be established under the direction of the Chief of the Fire Department and in accordance with such regulation, regarding the location of such fire lanes and parking prohibitions in the areas so designated, as the Director of Public Safety may deem advisable. The Chief of the Fire Department shall consult with the owner/or operator of any building where fire lanes are to be established prior to such establishment. The Chief of the Fire Department remains the ultimate authority for the placement of fire lanes in accordance with the Ohio Fire Code. The Chief of the Fire Department shall make periodic reviews of established fire lanes.
