1503.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter:
   (a)   “Rapid Access Key Box” means a UL type, high security key vault for emergency access to a specified structure.
   (b)   “Automatic alarm” means a system that does not require human intervention, which is supervised by a central monitoring station.
   (c)   “Central monitoring station” means an office to which remote alarm and supervisory signaling devices are transmitted, and where personnel are constantly monitoring for alarms which indicate emergency conditions.
   (d)   Material Safety Data Sheets, hereinafter referred to as MSDS.
   (e)   Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986, hereinafter referred to as SARA.
   (f)   “Hazardous Material" means any substance or material, be it chemical, biological, radiological, or explosive in nature, which could cause harm to humans, domestic animals, wildlife, agricultural crops, or property, when released into the environment.
   (g)   “Key Switch" means an approved UL type switch that can be operated by the Fire Department to gain access through a locked gate.
   (h)   "Security Padlock" means a padlock used by the Fire Department which enables access through a secured gate.
   (i)   "Automatic gate" means a gate that is electronically controlled.
