The following specifications shall apply to all walks and driveways located outside of the City right of way on private property.
(a) Concrete Thickness. The minimum thickness of concrete, when used, shall be four inches.
(b) Bed. The bed on well-compacted soil or aggregate subgrade shall be four inches thick.
(c) Expansion Joints. One-half inch expansion joints shall be installed wherever walk or drive meets the approach, garage slab or foundation of structure.
(d) Contraction Joints. Contraction joints in walks at approximately five-foot intervals, and in drives at approximately ten-foot intervals to be provided by cutting into the surface approximately half the depth of the concrete.
(e) Edging. The edges of the walk or drives shall be finished with a One-half inch edging tool.
