Any bicycle operated or used by any owner or operator in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter may be impounded by a police officer of the Municipality. The bicycle may be redeemed after proof of ownership has been furnished. If the operator of a bicycle is a minor and has operated in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, the bicycle must be redeemed pursuant to this chapter by the parents of such minor.
