In addition to section 1-8-23 of this chapter, whenever any person shall plead guilty or nolo contendere, or be found guilty after trial in the Municipal Court of a violation of a City ordinance, the presiding Judge may grant a continued or deferred sentence to the person, may impose a fine upon the person, may order the person to participate in a community service work program without compensation for a specified number of hours to be determined by the court, may suspend the judgment or costs or both of the person, or may impose any combination of the above.
