12-2-7: STREET AND SUBDIVISION NAMES:
   A.   Streets:
      1.   No street name shall be used which will duplicate, or be confused with, the names of existing streets.
      2.   Street names shall be subject to the approval of the planning commission and the city council.
   B.   Subdivisions: Subdivision names shall not duplicate existing subdivisions of record unless the plat is an extension of a previously recorded addition as reflected in a preliminary plat approved by the planning commission and the city council. (1987 Code § 12-416)
