1-6-1: BOND:
   A.   Requirement: The council shall require the city treasurer, the city clerk, the chief of police, and any other officers and employees as it may designate by ordinance or otherwise to give bond for the faithful performance of duties in such amount and form as the council shall prescribe.
   B.   Premiums Paid By City: The city shall pay the premiums on such bonds.
   C.   Bonds Filed With Council: The bonds shall be filed and approved by the city council. (1987 Code § 2-326)
