5-2-8: FIRE AND MEDICAL SERVICES; FEES:
   A.   Fire Services Fee:
      1.   The city is empowered to charge a fee for fire services per hour for each and every truck that dispenses water on a fire within the city's fire area. A minimum charge as set by motion or resolution of the city council per fire and a maximum charge as set by motion or resolution of the city council per fire is allowed. (1987 Code § 13-209; amd. 2004 Code)
      2.   It is the duty of the firefighter in charge to get the address and location of the fire, insurance company and agent's name and address, and home address, mailing address and signature of owner or renter.
      3.   The billing of this fee will be done by the city clerk after the fire report is turned in to the city clerk. (1987 Code § 13-209)
   B.   Fee For Medical Emergency Calls:
      1.   The city is empowered to charge a fee for medical emergency calls to which the department responds. The charge for this medical emergency response shall be as set by motion or resolution of the city council per call made if any supplies are used. (Ord. 1995-02, 5-11-1995; amd. 2004 Code)
      2.   It is the duty of the firefighter in charge to get the name, address, and location of the call to which the department responds. Signature of the person to whom the response is made, if possible, should be obtained, along with the individual's home address and mailing address.
      3.   The billing of this fee will be done by the city clerk after the response report is turned in to the city clerk. (Ord. 1995-01, 2-9-1995)
