A. Duties: The training/safety officer shall have the following responsibilities:
1. Once a month, inspection of station and equipment, and report findings.
2. Maintain training records and safety records.
3. Be responsible for safety briefing at each fire meeting.
4. Be responsible in maintaining that each member receives forty (40) hours of minimum training each year in order to keep up certification and cards.
B. Rank: The training/safety officer has the same duties and rank as a captain. (Ord. 1995-02, 5-11-1995)
