It is unlawful for any person, firm or other entity to leave, place or abandon, in any place accessible to children, any abandoned or discarded icebox, refrigerator, stove, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, tank, or any other container or appliance with a capacity of one and one-half (11/2) cubic feet or more that has a door with a lock or other fastening device that cannot be easily released and opened from the inside of such appliance or container, without first removing the door, lock or fastener.
