§ 98.22 PHOTOGRAPH OF SELLER REQUIRED.
   No person engaged in business as described in § 98.20 shall purchase or exchange secondhand or antique jewelry, coins, watches, diamonds or other precious stones, cutlery, or gold, silver, platinum, or other precious metals, or other secondhand manufactured articles composed wholly or in part of gold, silver, platinum, or other precious metals unless the person first obtains an instant developing photograph of the seller or exchanger of the above enumerated items or a photo copy of the seller’s or exchanger’s current operator’s license or state-issued identification card. The photograph is to be identified in such a way that the person or persons shown in the photograph can be identified with each entry of the register identified in § 98.20. The photograph and register shall be maintained for a period of one year after the date on which the transaction occurred.
