(A) The City Auditorium shall be available for rental use to individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses under the terms and conditions set forth in this subchapter. The City Auditorium shall further be available for rental use to the federal and state governments and any subdivisions thereof and to religious. charitable, scientific, literary, educational, and service organizations and any other entity that would qualify under § 501(c) Internal Revenue Code and not organized for profit or for the benefit of private shareholders.
(B) The City Council may, for the purpose of defraying the expenses involved in maintaining and managing the Auditorium, set by ordinance, make a reasonable rental charge for the use thereof. The rental charges shall be on file at the office of the City Clerk and are set out in Chapter 38, Fee Schedule.
