APPENDIX B: CITY CEMETERY FEES
   (A)   For the purpose of this appendix, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      CITY RESIDENT. Any person, spouse or blood relative who at the time of death was residing within the corporate city limits (excluding hospitals, nursing homes, retirement homes or hotels/motels) or can provide evidence of residing within the corporate city limits for a period of greater than one year.
   (B)   Lot/niche prices. The following prices for cemetery lots and columbarium niches have been set by the City Council in accordance with the provisions of § 54.084 of this code. The prices of all cemetery lots and columbarium niches shall be governed by the following schedule unless hereafter changed by the City Council.
      (1)   Adult grave space for city resident: $300;
      (2)   Adult grave space for non-resident: $400;
      (3)   Infant grave space for city resident: $75;
      (4)   Infant grave space for non-resident: $150;
      (5)   Columbarium niche for city resident: $650*; and
      (6)   Columbarium niche for non-resident: $750*.
   *Price includes niche, engraving, initial opening and closing. Subsequent openings and closings are $25.
   (C)   Price for opening graves. The following prices for the opening of graves have been set by the City Council with the provisions of § 54.087 of this code. The prices charged for opening graves shall be governed by the following schedule.
      (1)   (a)   City resident. For the opening of a grave for the burial of a person who at the time of death was eight years of age or older: $300; and
         (b)   Non-resident. For the opening of a grave for the burial of a person who at the time of death was eight years of age or older: $325.
      (2)   For the opening of a grave for the burial of a person who at the time of death was under eight years of age: $75.
      (3)   For the opening of a grave for the burial of the cremated remains of a person: $90.
      (4)   Removal of grave from one location to another in the cemetery: Actual labor and costs.
      (5)   For Saturday interments for a city resident or non-resident: add $100.
      (6)   There will be no Sunday and/or designated city holiday interments.
   (D)   Monument and marker permit fee. The fee required for the obtaining of a monument or marker permit has been set by the City Council in accordance with the provisions of § 54.115 of this code.
      (1)   Monument/marker permit fee: $30 per space.
   (E)   Perpetual care fee. The following fee to be charged for perpetual care has been set by the City Council in accordance with the provisions of § 54.088 of this code. A one time fee for each space or niche purchased will provide for eternal care of the cemeteries: $150.
