§ 111.12 FORESTERS AND LANDSCAPERS.
   (A)   License. No person shall engage in the businesses commonly known as forestry or landscaping (tree, lawn and shrub planting, trimming and removal) in the Village without a license therefor, and furnishing a bond. The provisions of this section shall not apply to any person, by themself, trimming or removing trees or shrubs owned by them. The fee shall be as set forth in § 110.13.
   (B)   Bond. Every person licensed under this section shall, before receiving the license therein referred to, deposit with the Director of Finance a bond in the penal sum of $20,000 with surety to be approved by the Board of Trustees to protect the Village from any and all loss, costs, expense or liability which the village may suffer, or be put to, or which may be recovered from it by reason of the issuance of such license or by reason of any act or thing done or neglected to be done under or by virtue of the authority given in such license.
   (C)   Insurance. No person licensed under this section shall plant, trim or remove any tree or shrub in the Village unless such person shall procure and file with the Director of Finance a standard form of public liability and property damage insurance policy protecting the Village, its officers and agents against any and all liability for damage resulting from such planting, trimming or removal within the corporate limits of the Village. Such insurance policies shall be written by some one of the companies qualified under the laws of this state to make such contracts and each policy shall be in the sum of $50,000 limit for 1 person killed or injured in one accident at any 1 location and $100,000 limit for 2 or more persons killed or injured in any one accident at any 1 location, and $10,000 in respect to property damage in any 1 accident at any 1 location to be kept in force with initial or renewable premiums prepaid in advance of the periods covered so long as such forester or landscaper shall be engaged in this business in the village.
