Under the supervision of the Fire Chief, the Bureau of Fire Fighting shall preserve and protect the lives and property of persons and in the event of fire, obey and enforce all ordinances of Council, laws of Ohio and of the United States relating thereto, train and school personnel in fire fighting and fire prevention methods, measures and activities, and perform such other duties not inconsistent therewith as Council by ordinance may prescribe or as directed by the Director of Public Safety.
