The Fire Chief, with the approval of the Director of Public Safety, and the Director of Public Safety with the approval of Council, may prescribe such rules and regulations with reference to the property, equipment and personnel of the Division of Fire and the training, schooling and performance of the duties of members of the Division as may be deemed necessary to the proper and efficient conduct thereof. All such rules after approval as hereinbefore provided shall be filed with the Municipal Clerk and shall at all times be prominently displayed or readily accessible in each fire station for inspection by any persons interested. Existing rules and regulations shall be continued in force until changed as provided in this section.
