127.03 ASSISTANT MUNICIPAL CLERK.
   An Assistant Municipal Clerk shall perform duties prescribed by the Municipal Clerk from time to time and shall, in the absence or disability of the Municipal Clerk, perform the duties of such Municipal Clerk in all respects and with all powers. In the event that the office of Assistant Municipal Clerk is vacant, the Mayor, with confirmation by a majority of the members of Council, may appoint an Interim Assistant Municipal Clerk, who shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and Council, to perform all of the duties of the Assistant Municipal Clerk at a salary to be determined by ordinance of Council until such office can be filled with a permanent appointment.
