§ 156.04 STATE PLUMBING CODE ADOPTED; REVISIONS.
   (A)   Illinois State Plumbing Code adopted. The Illinois State Plumbing Code promulgated by the Illinois Department of Public Health, Division of Sanitary Engineering, dated July 1, 1959, is hereby adopted, made a part hereof and incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein; at least three copies of said code shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk and there kept available for public use, inspection and examination. Any provision or regulation contained in the Illinois State Plumbing Code in conflict with or inconsistent with any provision or regulation contained in this chapter is to the extent of such conflict or inconsistency superseded by the provision or regulation contained in this chapter.
   (B)   Revision. Section 12.5.1 of the Illinois State Plumbing Code shall be inapplicable in the city, provided, however, the vent extension through the roof shall in no instance be smaller than the vent which it terminates; and in no instance shall it be smaller than two inches. Vent terminals shall not be screened.
