§ 90.22 DANGEROUS, NOISY AND RUNNING AT LARGE DOGS AND CATS.
   Any dangerous, fierce, vicious or noisy dog or cat within any place within the city, whether upon private premises or not, and any dog or cat which unduly disturbs the peace and quiet of any person or neighborhood within the city, and any dog or cat that shall bite any person or injure any person, or any dog or cat that is found running at large contrary to § 90.21, is declared to be a nuisance. Such dog or cat shall be taken up and impounded in the manner set forth; provided, that any dangerous, fierce or vicious dog or cat so running at large may, when public safety requires, be summarily disposed of without having been impounded. The remains of any dog or cat so summarily disposed of that may have bitten or injured any person shall be caused to be examined for disease, including rabies.
