§ 33.076 APPOINTMENT.
   (A)   All members of the former Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners and the former Street and Parks Advisory Board, who desire to become members of the Public Works Advisory Board, are hereby appointed and confirmed for initial terms of office on the Public Works Advisory Board.
   (B)   Each member of the former Boards, who desire to become members of Public Works Advisory Board, shall establish staggered terms of office by self selection or lottery at the first organizational meeting of the Board. One third of the former members shall serve an initial term expiring on December 31, 2003; one third shall serve an initial term expiring on December 31, 2004 and one third of the former members shall serve an initial term expiring on December 31, 2005. All members of the Board shall serve until their successors have been appointed and confirmed.
   (C)   The size of the Board shall be reduced by attrition to eleven members serving three year staggered terms. If the number of members becomes less than 11, new appointments to the Board shall be made by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. New members will be appointed to fulfill the unexpired term of a member whose seat becomes vacant for any reason during his or her term.
   (D)   If a member of the Board misses three unexcused consecutive meetings as determined by the Chair, it shall be cause for termination from membership on the Board. The Secretary of the Board shall report such absences to the Mayor.
