The Board of Veterans' Affairs shall act as an advisory body to the City Manager and Council with respect to the following matters:
(a) Care and maintenance of the Mason Veterans Memorial.
(b) Aid, assistance, and encouragement of community involvement in veterans' affairs.
(c) Collection and disposition of funds for the benefit of various veterans' affairs.
(d) Promotion and support of educational programs for various veterans' affairs.
(e) Coordination with appropriate federal, state, county, and other local agencies to address matters of veterans' affairs.
(f) Performance of other duties assigned by Council or requested by the City Manager.
